Rs.35000/- per month]	not more than 45 Years	1) Good academic record with at least 55 % of the marks or, an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale withlatter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master�s degree level, in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or, an equivalent degree from a foreign University. 2) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the eligibility test (NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC. i.e. SET/SLET. NET / SLET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition. 3) Provided, however, that candidates, who are or have been awarded Ph.D. Degree in compliance of the �University Grants Commission (Minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities / Colleges / Institutions.
The post �Lecturer� is re-designated as �Assistant Professor� as per 6th Pay Commission * indicates posts reserved for ladies, if available

For Backward Class Candidates - RS. 125/-
Fee should be paid in the Post Office by cash alongwith Application

How to apply :-
The filled up Application form alongwith required certificates, summary sheet, Proforma-A and fee will be accepted only at any of the designated Post Offices mentioned in the prospectus in their working hours on or before 13th August, 2010. Application form will not be accepted in the Office of the Maharashtra Public Service Commission under any
circumstances or no enquiry in that behalf will be entertained.
